  • How-to / Quick start pill – Brings you back to this page from inside the trainer.
  • Both the main trainer and the iOS version also work on desktop; the button is just a recommendation.

2. Phrase & Translation

The big text is what you should say out loud. The smaller line underneath is the meaning in your native language.

  • These two lines change automatically when the trainer loads a new word or sentence.

  • Match % – overall similarity between your speech and the target phrase.
  • Green bar – fills toward the right as your score increases (100% = perfect).

  • When you hit perfect scores the phrase turns bright green and confetti can appear (if enabled).

5. Words / Sentences mode buttons

Choose if you want to drill short words or full sentences before you start a practice run.

🗣 Words
📖 Sentences
Practice single words in 3 groups of 3. Wait for red light to speak!
  • 🗣 Words – Shorter units. Ideal when you want to focus on tough sounds or tricky words.
  • 📖 Sentences – Longer phrases. Great for rhythm, intonation and “real speech” practice.
  • The highlighted button is the active mode (it appears in accent blue inside the trainer).
  • Changing the mode affects how many rounds are used and how scoring works internally.

6. “Start practice (Random x5)” button

This is the main auto-practice button. The trainer will choose a phrase for you and guide you through multiple rounds.
Main practice button
When active, the button turns into “⏸ Stop practice”.
  • Click once to start:
    • The trainer picks a random unmastered word or sentence.
    • It plays the phrase, then records you, several times in a row.
  • Words mode – typically 3 groups of 3 recordings, with scores shown per group.
  • Sentences mode – up to 5 rounds for the same sentence, with each round scored.
  • Click again to stop – use this if you want to interrupt a session and pick another phrase or change modes.
