What is Batch Transcribe Free — Smart 500?
Batch Transcribe Free — Smart 500 is a browser-based transcription tool from TheLanguageChannel.com. It’s designed for creators, teachers, students, and businesses who need to turn many short audio or video clips into clean text, without paying per minute or installing heavy desktop software.
Instead of uploading one file at a time, you can drop in a whole folder of clips (for example, podcast segments, course lessons, pronunciation drills, or social media snippets) and let the tool handle them in parallel. You remain in control of how many jobs run at once and how quickly new jobs start, so you can keep things fast but stable on your current connection.
How to Use This Free Batch Transcription Tool
- Upload your files: Click the upload area above or drag and drop your audio / video files. Common formats such as mp3, wav, m4a, mp4 are supported.
- Choose your language: Leave it on Auto-detect or pick a specific language from the 30+ supported options.
- Set parallel jobs and gap: The default setting (8 jobs, ~1200 ms gap) works well for most people. For very large batches of tiny clips, try 6–10 parallel jobs and a 1000–1500 ms gap.
- Click “Start”: The queue will show which files are pending, running, completed, or errored. You can pause and resume processing at any time.
- Download your text: When everything is done, click Download Combined .txt to save all transcripts in a single text file.
