CEFR Level B1 – Intermediate

At B1, learners can handle most situations that arise in daily life and travel.

What a learner can usually do at B1

  • talk about experiences, events and plans
  • briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions
  • handle most situations while travelling in a region where the language is spoken
  • describe dreams, hopes and ambitions in simple terms
